The Board of Oakseed Ministries is pleased to announce that Charlie Jarvis has agreed to become Oakseed’s next president beginning on August 1, succeeding founder Ed Bradley. Charlie has served as a ruling elder in the Presbyterian Church in America and has a wealth of non-profit, government and private sector experience, including as Executive Vice President of Focus on the Family and Vice President of Legal Services Corporation (which provides legal aid to America’s poor). Charlie holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia and a law degree from George Mason University. Charlie and his wife Vikke have been long-time friends of the Bradleys, having first met at McLean Presbyterian in the 1980′s and enjoying Ed’s insightful classes. Please join us in welcoming Charlie and in praising God for providing a president for Oakseed.
We hope you will be able to join us on Friday, September 14th at 7pm for our annual Oakseed Celebration Banquet to meet Charlie and to participate in a special 20th anniversary celebration. The Banquet will take place at McLean Presbyterian Church.
In Christ,
Mark Whittle

Congratulations, Mr. Jarvis. We are wishing you and Oakseed much continued success in all your endeavors. We miss Dr. Bradley very much. My daughter Emerald was the first grand prize winner of the essay contest and served as judge in many of the following essay contests. Our family still cherishes our time in Kampala, Uganda with Christine Baralemwa and family. Emerald and her sister Sabrina are both high school students at a boarding college prep school in Ct, Choate Rosemary Hall. We four hope to join you at the Banquet next fall. Congratulations. You are all in our thoughts and prayers,
Sincerely,
