In Peru, 47.6% of the population in extreme poverty is younger than 15 years old. In view of this reality, the Peruvian Bible Society (SBP) and Urban Rural Holistic Mission (MISIUR) are joining forces to tackle the situation through a program called "THE BREAD OF LIFE".
It is a program designed to offer holistic help to children who live in extreme poverty.
"The Bread of Life" seeks to meet two fundamental needs in a child's development.
That children may know God through Jesus, by means of teaching and illustrated Bible portions which are age appropriate.
To contribute to increasing the nutrition of the child by providing a daily breakfast.
